Fort HealthCare's Speech Therapy program is comprehensive and well-recognized. The department serves as a Level I practicum site for UW-Whitewater graduate students in Communicative Disorders and employs highly qualified, certified speech therapists. In recent years, the number of modified barium swallow studies, inpatients treated and outpatient referrals have nearly doubled. Therapy is available on weekdays and therapists are on-call every weekend and holidays for inpatient treatment.
