Love Lights

For 28 years, the response of individuals, organizations, clubs and businesses has made the Fort Memorial Hospital Partners Love Light Tree project an immensely successful annual event, exemplifying the spirit of giving.

The support given to this project has generated funds to help people of all ages with a variety of health care needs. In the past, funds raised through the Love Light Tree project have enabled the hospital to purchase specialized equipment for many different areas of the hospital. Funds also have been used to assist in the development of new services such as the Subacute Care unit, room service for patient meals, the addition of the auditorium with modern equipment, and the paramedic intercept program.

Through proceeds raised during the 2012 campaign, the Fort HealthCare Emergency Department will be able to acquire necessary supplies to maintain the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.

For most of us, the holiday season brings to mind a time of reflection and gift giving. A time to remember those who we may have forgotten during the year. Usually, we are looking for that special something that reflects how we truly feel. A Love Light is the perfect gift, giving you the opportunity to tell someone that they are special while benefiting this year’s cause. Your contribution toward this very worthwhile project will be greatly appreciated not only by the Partners, but also by the many patients who will benefit.

A donation of $2 or more will add a light to the tree, either as a gift for someone you care for, or as a memorial. Special pledge cards are available upon request so that you may notify the person (or family if it’s a memorial) that you have purchased a light in their honor. A donation of $25 or more will designate you as a Love Light Tree sponsor. All donations and sponsors will be acknowledged in area newspapers in December. To ensure you are properly recognized in this year’s newspaper listings, we must receive your gift by December 12.

Please specify whether your donation is a gift (colored light) or a memorial (white light). Also, please indicate the names and home cities of the individuals for whom you are purchasing a Love Light.
