FREE Fertility Issues SeminarTuesday, September 27, 2011
Nancy Aguirre, MD with Fort HealthCare Center for Women’s Health will be hosting a FREE fertility information seminar on Tuesday, October 25 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Fort Memorial Hospital Auditorium in Fort Atkinson. Individuals are invited to register for the seminar online at FortHealthCare.com/Classes (click on “A Healthier You”), or by calling 920-568-5244.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 11.8 percent of women in the United States age 15-44 have some issues with fertility or their reproductive cycle. There can be a variety of causes for this condition, and it doesn’t discriminate between races.
Infertility is grouped into two categories:
• Primary infertility refers to couples who have not become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected sex (intercourse).
• Secondary infertility refers to couples who have been pregnant at least once, but never again.
At the seminar, Dr. Aguirre will be discussing fertility issues that affect many women, including treatment and care solutions.
Dr. Aguirre is a doctor of obstetrics and gynecology, dedicated to improving women's health. In addition to caring for all aspects of women’s health, Aguirre has a particular interest in providing minimally invasive surgeries, offering care for continence issues, contraceptive management and fertility issues.
This free seminar is also a way for community members to meet Dr. Aguirre. She is one of five providers at Fort HealthCare Center for Women’s Health, along with Satwant Dhillon, MD, Julie Mohktar, DO, Christine Chuppa, MD, and Joyce Dedrick, APNP.
