Psychiatrist Nicolette Weisensel MD Joins Fort HealthCare

Fort HealthCare is proud to announce the addition of psychiatrist, Nicolette Weisensel, MD to the Behavioral Health Center where she joins the 12-person counseling staff. Weisensel is board certified in psychiatry, specializing in mood and anxiety disorders. In addition she has extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders.

“I look forward to serving the Fort Atkinson area and the staff at Fort HealthCare’s Behavioral Health Center. It is exciting to bring my experience here to help the people of our communities,” says Weisensel.

Weisensel is excited to treat persons in rural community where psychiatric treatment is sometimes unavailable. A Wisconsin native, she enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, golfing and spending time with her dogs.

She attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, while serving as chief resident to the department of psychiatry.
