FORT ATKINSON – Fort Medical Group and Fort HealthCare Internal Medicine & Pediatrics is pleased to welcome pediatrician, Julia Dewey, MD, to their medical group practice. Dewey joins the staff in Fort Atkinson on September 1.

Dewey earned her medical degree from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in Hershey and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in June 2010. In addition to offering general pediatric care, Dewey is available to care for multiples, give pelvic exams and perform circumcisions.

Dewey states, “I chose to practice Pediatrics not only for the obvious reason that I love working with children, but because it offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with young patients and their parents. I believe a trusting relationship can lead to a more effective partnership in maintaining good health.”

Dewey continues, “I love the thought of watching my patients grow up, celebrating their successes with them, helping them through their difficulties, and guiding them toward healthy adulthoods while providing their parents with tools to assist them in the journey.” When she’s not seeing patients, Dewey enjoys outdoor activities, watching live music, reading and spending time with her husband and twin boys.

Appointments can be made with Dewey through the Fort HealthCare Internal Medicine & Pediatrics clinic in Fort Atkinson by calling (920) 563-5571.
