Bethany A Anderson, MD: Radiation Oncologist

A graduate of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Dr. Anderson completed a research internship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) focused on breast cancer. She finished a residency at UW-Madison, followed by a fellowship at the Institut Gustave Roussey in France. Her primary area of interest is on 3D, MRI-guided brachytherapy.

 

Megan Anderson, APNP: Family Nurse Practioner

Megan is a nurse practitioner who joined Nephrology Associates in June 2010 after completing her master's degree in nursing at Marquette University. Currently, she sees patients in several area hospitals as well as in outpatient dialysis clinics and a specialty clinic in the Menomonee Falls area. Previous to joining Nephrology Associates, she had graduated from Marquette University's undergraduate nursing program and was a practicing nurse for 4 years in Milwaukee, WI.

Nancy Shea has a Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from UW-Oshkosh. She is state licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW) and as a substance abuse counselor (SAC).  Nancy has worked in the behavioral health field for over twenty years primarily in outpatient treatment settings providing individual, group and family counseling to people struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and addictions. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapy treatment model with a focus on skill building.    Nancy believes in empowering the person to use their strengths and support networks to develop a recovery and a relapse prevention plan that will allow them successful completion of their life goals.

Tod W. Speer, MD: Radiation Oncology

Dr. Speer is board certified in radiation oncology, as well as in hyperbaric medicine, specializing in managing radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients, including stereotactic radiosurgery, brachytherapy and CT based image guided radiotherapy. He has extensive clinical research experience and particular expertise in treating head and neck cancer, prostate seed implants, partial breast irradiation, and radioimmunotherapy.

Charels K. Stone, MD, FACC: Cardiologist

When asked what he enjoys most about caring for his patients, Dr. Stone says, “I like solving patient clinical problems, helping to explain various aspects of cardiac problems, and learning patient’s life stories.”

Dr. Stone's Interests:

Dr. Stone’s special interests involve noninvasive imaging of heart disease and regional distribution of specialty care. He joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin in 1988 as director of Nuclear Cardiology. His clinical activities include supervising and interpreting treadmill and pharmacologic stress tests, interpreting cardiac PET scans, implementing novel imaging protocols and serving as clinical liaison for the Nuclear Cardiology section, which provides a broad base of nuclear imaging techniques. In 2003, he was appointed director of Cardiology Outreach, overseeing outreach clinics at regional hospitals in southern and central Wisconsin. 

Dr. Stone is a member of the American Board of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

In his free time, Dr. Stone has many, dynamic interests including sailing, skiing and traveling with his family.

Interventional Cardiology 

An interventional cardiologist is a cardiologist who specializes in minimally invasive, catheter-based treatment for heart disease.
