Wellness Classes - Fitness Classes
Healthy-Steps, Moving You to Better Health with the Lebed Method, is a therapeutic exercise and movement program with wonderful music designed to help you thrive! Offering wellness programs for cancer survivors, regardless of health, age or ability level. The Healthy-Steps program improves overall wellness, range-of-motion, balance, strength and endurance, as well as emotional well-being and self-image.
Through funding from Tomorrow's Hope, Fort HealthCare is able to reduce the rate for this class to $20/person
This class features exercises to maintain joint flexibility. The exercises are especially important for people with arthritis. Those with fibromyalgia or anyone wanting gentle exercise will also benefit. The one-hour exercise session includes time for refreshments and socializing. A fee of $2 is collected at each session; first session is FREE. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursdays from 2 to 3 pm.
