Wellness Classes - A Healthier You
This program hosted by UW Cancer Center Johnson Creek and sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the Personal Care Products Council, teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients to help combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
This 10-week weight management program is designed specifically for families (with children ages 8 - 15 years old) who are looking for ways to incorporate healthier eating and fitness habits into their everyday lifestyle. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Heidi Jennrich, and Occupational Therapist, Alyssa Maurer, will cover a different topic each week related to diet and exercise and each class will include a family activity utilizing Fort HealthCare's new Railyard fitness equipment. Railyard is an indoor, portable, obstacle course that has received rave reviews from physical education, athletic conditioning, personal training, and institutional fitness experts worldwide. There are only two in Wisconsin and one is right here in your backyard!
This 12-week weight management program, delivered in two 12-week sessions, is designed specifically for adults with education and physical activity designed to help you reach your goal. Wellness Specialist Tiffany Frohmader along with special guest lecturers will cover a different topic each week related to diet and exercise. Each class will include time for physical activity. This class will be held in the Fort HealthCare Cardiac Rehab facilities.
