Slimdown Challenge - Health for the Holidays |

Fort HealthCare is excited to present our annual Slimdown Challenge (weight loss or weight maintenance challenge) that will take place in November and December of 2020. The theme, "Health for the Holidays”, gives participants helpful hints on how to keep their health in focus during the busy holiday season. |  |

Positive Self Care Through Exercise |

Lace up your walking or running shoes and participate in one or all virtual 5k opportunities from Fort HealthCare during the fall and winter months of 2020 and early 2021. These opportunities are free for all community members! |  |

Digital Fitness Class Series |

Try one class or all of the digital fitness classes through Fort HealthCare. $5-$10 per class per month or $20 per month for ALL classes. |  |

Local Blood Drives |
 |
Fort HealthCare helps to coordinate monthly blood drives in the Jefferson County area. Dates and locations are continually updated. Pre-registration is required. The Blood Center of Wisconsin (Versiti) is offering the SARS CoV-2 antibody test on all donations as part of their standard testing. The test will be performed on all successful donations at every Versiti blood center and blood drive. |  |

Worksite Wellness Challenges |

Each month we feature free downloadable wellness challenges that can be shared with your employees. November is all about nurturing yourself and others. Everybody loves BINGO! This “gratitude version” has suggestions for both internal gratitude and opportunities for reaching out to others. Jefferson County Drug Free Coalition |
 |
The Jefferson County Drug Free Coalition (JCDFC) is offering $100 Youth Seed Awards for any youth group in any setting (school, church, youth justice, sports, recreation, etc.) to implement prevention/education projects that align with their mission. Applications may be submitted at any time. Projects should be completed by May 31, 2021. |  |
