Welcome to Our Healthy Community! The purpose of this newsletter is to share resources and connect partners who help drive the health of our community. It takes all of us to come together through our worksites, schools and community groups to become the healthiest community in Wisconsin. Thank you for all you do! WELLNESS ARTICLES
Keep up to date on different health and wellness topics with our monthly wellness articles. October is musculoskeletal health month. Articles coincide with Fort HealthCare's employee wellness themes and are free to download and share. Enjoy a different article and activity each month. Spanish materials also available.

Join participants from the USA and the world in a free Virtual 5k Series which includes 6 different "races" held once or twice per month between October 2021 and February 2022.

Send Silence Packing at UW-W Oct. 4th
Oct. 4th is World Mental Health Day. "Send Silence Packing" is a visually striking exhibit that includes personal stories from individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide and is designed to connect individuals to mental health resources and inspire actions for suicide prevention. This event is made be possible by the National and Local Active Minds organizations.
Community Partners of Jefferson County
Community Partners of Jefferson County would like your opinion! They are collecting info to help strengthen community connections with Spanish speaking/LatinX/Hispanic families throughout Jefferson County. Please complete (and share) the survey if you are willing. Thank you!

Local Blood Drives
Local blood drive dates and locations are continually updated, as well as information related to the Covid-19 vaccine and donations, on our website . Pre-registration is required. Please visit our page regularly to sign up for a blood drive near you.

Worksite Wellness
Each month we feature free downloadable wellness challenges and information that can be shared with your employees. The topic for October is Musculoskeletal Health. Previous months are also archived on this page.
American Heart Association for Worksites
Fort HealthCare is an American Heart Association Training Center. We offer Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/AED training in your facility. For more information on classes please contact Katie at Kathleen.Kalvaitis@forthc.com or 920-568-5248.
