Wellness Classes - Fitness Classes

Fort HealthCare Digital Class Series

Join Fort HealthCare fitness instructors from anywhere with this live digital class series offered during this time of unknown and social-distancing. These classes will be offered through the Zoom application platform, and in order to increase security with this platform, each participant will receive (per class, below) and will be admitted individually by the instructor.

Midday Stretch: This easy-going low-impact movement and stretch class will get the blood flowing, muscles moving and rejuvenate you to tackle your afternoon.

Cardio Burn: This cardiovascular-based exercise will keep your heart and lungs pumping with various low and high impact exercises.

Absolute Arms: This upper-body focused class with tone and tighten your shoulders, biceps, triceps and back/chest (on occasion) with a changing workout weekly. 

Body Blast: This total-body workout is for all fitness levels, and will incorporate both cardiovascular and strength training, with a different workout each week.

Zumba®: This easy-to-follow and fun Latin-based dance class will have you shaking your hips and moving to the music. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Glutes & Abs: Tone and tighten the muscles in your glute and core region during this early-morning class.

Yoga Stretch: Enjoy tranquility and working on your flexibility through mindful stretches and exercises in this slow and relaxing class.

WERQ: This fun and fresh cardio dance workout will keep you smiling as you move to pop, hip hop and rock music.  This class is for all ages and fitness levels.

 

 

Participants will have the option to register individually per class OR, have the option to register for all class options, at a discounted rate. All discount codes will be accepted for this series.


Healthy-Steps

Healthy-Steps, Moving You to Better Health with the Lebed Method, is a therapeutic exercise and movement program with wonderful music designed to help you thrive!  Offering wellness programs for anyone, regardless of health, age or ability level.  The Healthy-Steps program improves overall wellness, range-of-motion, balance, strength and endurance, as well as emotional well-being and self-image.

1-hour in person sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 9:00am at the Johnson Creek Community Center.

Classes sizes will be limited and all participants will be required to wear a face covering.
