Look Good…Feel Better

UW Cancer Center Johnson Creek hosts this free program that teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the Personal Care Products Council, the program features trained volunteer cosmetologists who teach women how to cope with skin changes using cosmetics and products donated by the cosmetics industry. Women also learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs, scarves and other accessories.
