Frosty Rock Event!

General Health

Complete details of the annual Frosty Rock Event

Happy (almost) Fall Ya’ll!

Waking up these cool mornings has made me, *sigh* realize that Fall is indeed coming, and I’m forever grateful that I have a wicked-good heater in my car for my morning work commute. Before you stop reading because you think I’m some sort of “Fall hater”, that’s not entirely true. I love the ‘coziness’ of the season, leggings, boots, pumpkin-spiced everything and the resounding cheers of Packer fans on Sundays.

One of my other favorites about Fall is the cooler weather for running. I’m much more motivated to go outside and crank out a few miles knowing I won’t melt into a puddle of sweat.

Fort HealthCare has capitalized on the “chilly weather” component with the annual Frosty Rock 5k/12k run/walk. This race, which is taking place this year on November 11th, has been known to be cold, cold, cold, or like last year…downright balmy!

Maybe you’re reading this and thinking “Hey! I’ve done that race before and LOVED it”, and we hope to see you on the 11th!  Maybe you’ve heard about this race, but don’t know a whole lot about it, or are on the fence about participating. OR, maybe, you’ve never heard about this race and have no clue about it. Whichever category you fall into, I hope this blog helps!

Alright, here are the details in handy FAQ-style format:
