Anyone is invited to participate in this event and all fitness levels are welcome! You don’t need to be a regular runner to do this – you can jog or walk the distances, too. Families and friends as well as groups are encouraged to participate in the fun – while supporting a great cause.
The Frosty Rock Challenge began in 2013, and was initially started as a way to bring like-minded runners and walkers together to have an organized event to compete in, and to also serve as a Marketing tool for Fort HealthCare’s Mission statement, which is “[To] Improve the health and well-being of our community“. As the years have progressed, the Frosty Rock event has grown and started to incorporate a philanthropic spirit with donating proceeds of the event to various funds/organizations such as Tomorrow’s Hope, Jefferson County Cancer Coalition, and the Fort HealthCare Foundation.
The race and festivities are being hosted at the Fort Atkinson High School (925 Lexington Blvd.) this year, and in honor of Veterans Day on November 11th, veterans can participate in the run/walk for FREE this year.
For 2023, Fort HealthCare is pleased to announce that a partnership with the Kiwanis Club has been formed for the race. A portion of each registration will be donated to the Kiwanis Club towards their philanthropic projects that benefits the Fort Atkinson Community.
