Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if I decide not to do the race or am injured?

No. We are unable to provide refunds, but thank you for supporting the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition. You may still pick up you race packet/t-shirt during the packet pick-up times.

Are strollers allowed?

For the 5K run and walk strollers are allowed, but must start at the rear of the race pack. Strollers are NOT permitted on the 12k route.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry, no – dogs are not allowed at the race.

Are ear buds allowed?

We discourage the use of ear buds/headphones for safety reasons.

I registered for one distance, but would like to switch to other distance. Can I do that?

Yes, you may make changes by contacting FrostyRock@forthc.com by October 21, 2016. Any changes after that will not be allowed.

Will there be race day registration?

Yes there will be race day registration from 7:30-9:15. There will also be packet pick-up and registration from Noon – 6:00 p.m. on Friday November 11. Shirts are NOT guaranteed and distance changes will NOT be accepted after October 21, 2016.

How much of the registration goes to charity?

100% of the proceeds go to the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition.

Can I pick up race packet on race day?

Yes, you can pick up your race packet from 7:30-8:45 on race day.

Can I pick up my friend’s packet?

Yes, you can pick up someone else’s packet – as long as you have their ID.

Can I change T-shirt size?

At packet-pick up you can change shirt sizes IF there is availability.

Are there porto-potties?

There will be porto-potties and indoor toilets available at the start/finish line as well as on the race course.

Are walkers welcome on the 12K?

Walkers are allowed for the 12K, but course closes promptly at 11:30 a.m.

Can I run the race for someone else, or someone else run for me?

Due to safety reasons you are not allowed to participate under someone else’s registration. We must have emergency contact information available, in case there is an emergency.
