Take on the challenge as you amble your way through the oak savannah, past the marshes and wetlands, and over the prairie on this 12K mixed course. The race starts at Fort Atkinson High School, goes through Dorothy Carnes County Park and returns to the clinic. This is a hilly, challenging course with the trail portion on uneven grassy surface.
Off-roading isn’t your idea of a fun run? Take a shot at the 5k road race or walk. Explore the neighborhoods of Fort Atkinson, friendly faces at each corner.The 5k also starts/ends at Fort Atkinson High School.
Untimed, this race is for kids age 12 and under. This race will start/end at Fort Atkinson High School.

All Veterans can participate for free!
There will be age group medals for the top three male and female finishes for the 5k and 12k. Age groupings include the following: 12 and under (5k only), 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Awards will be pottery mugs made by Pratt Clay Studio. In addition, there will be awards for the top three finishers (male/female) for each race. Overall winners will not be eligible for age group specific rewards.
Water stops will be available on both the 12k and 5k courses. Post-race refreshments will be available.
All pre-registered participants (by October 20) are guaranteed a race shirt. The official race shirt all races (5k, 12k, kids race) this year will be a Gilden Performance shirt, gender specific – color yet to be determined.

Because of the nature of this race, the use of ear buds is STRONGLY discouraged.
Race officials will be stationed throughout the course, wearing bright orange shirts.
Course will close at 11:30 a.m.
Packets will be available for pick-up at the Fort HealthCare Therapy & Sport Center (1504 Madison Avenue, Fort Atkinson) on Friday, November 10th from Noon-6:00 p.m. and the morning of the race from 7:30 – 9:15 a.m. at the Fort Atkinson High School. You will be asked to display a photo ID at pick-up. You may pick up a packet for someone else, but you MUST have a copy of his/her photo ID.
Advanced packet pick-up is STRONGLY encouraged.
