Have you been tested for diabetes? Diabetes affects an estimated 25.8 million people in the U.S. (90 to 95 percent have type 2 diabetes) - 18.8 million have been diagnosed, but 7 million are unaware they have the disease.

Diagnosing memory problems can be puzzling. In older adults, it’s easy to mistake such problems as part of the everyday memory loss that some people experience as they grow older. Memory problems, however, may be a sign of a more serious diagnosis, such as Alzheimer disease or dementia.
