Join us at our World Diabetes Day Health Event!
Diabetes is a chronic health condition that currently has no cure, and up to 70 percent of type 2 diabetes cases can be prevented or delayed through modifying habits and adopting a healthier lifestyle. To help spread the word regarding treatment and the search for a cure, World Diabetes Day is held each November, which is also American Diabetes Month. To participate in the awareness surrounding this national health observation day, Fort HealthCare is hosting a free indoor diabetes health event on Monday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Fort Memorial Hospital, 611 Sherman Avenue East in Fort Atkinson.
Our 32nd annual Love Lights campaign has begun
Each year, the Fort HealthCare Partners select a project at Fort Memorial Hospital to support through the sale of Love Lights. The campaign is celebrated with a tree lighting ceremony that will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 6:30 p.m. on the Fort Memorial Hospital grounds, near the Sherman Avenue entrance. At the ceremony, enjoy a seasonal message and special music, followed by refreshments and a visit from Santa. View a video on our website!
Join us at our family-friendly event
Beginning in 2013, we embarked on a journey to become a Baby-Friendly facility. The goal was reached, and the accreditation awarded in September, 2016. To help celebrate this achievement, we're hosting a family-friendly reception event for the community at the Fort Atkinson Club (211 South Water Street E., Fort Atkinson) on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
Frosty Rock Challenge event is this Saturday!
Sponsors and participants in this event help raise funds for the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition. This year, the Frosty Rock Challenge returns on November, 12, 2016 - consisting of 12k/5k/Kids 1-mile run options. Each race will start and end at the Fort HealthCare Therapy & Sport Center in Fort Atkinson. We look forward to seeing you at the Frosty Rock Challenge!
