It’s hard to believe, but this year marks the 40th anniversary of Fort HealthCare’s cherished Love Lights Project! For four decades, this beautiful tradition has shone brightly, illuminating our community with the spirit of love, remembrance, and gratitude. Since its beginning, the Love Lights Project has offered a meaningful way to honor and remember loved ones, while also supporting those in need in our community. This year is no different, as we proudly carry forward this tradition into its 40th year. Proceeds from the 2024 campaign will help the Fort HealthCare Partners, our hospital’s volunteer program, fund the CareLine service for those who cannot afford it, and to support several healthcare scholarships for local students and healthcare professionals. Continuing to provide these two important services to members of our community is critical for maintaining our commitment to bettering the lives of our friends and neighbors. Your continued support of these worthwhile projects will be greatly appreciated by not only the Fort HealthCare Partners, but also by the many local people who will benefit. In addition to helping to fund this project, you are also able to gift a Love Light. This is a perfect opportunity to tell someone that they are special while helping others in your community! A minimum donation of $5.00 or more will add two lights to the tree, either as a gift to honor someone (colored light), or as a memorial (white light) for a loved one that has passed away. A donation of $25.00 or more will designate you as a Love Light Tree sponsor. If you’d like to gift a Love Light and send an honor card to someone, be sure to include their email address so we can send them a special message.
