Dear United Way Supporters:

I couldn’t be more excited to be kicking off the 2016 United Way campaign, following two very successful campaign years prior. First off, THANK YOU to all of those individuals who have provided support to our past campaigns and to those who have committed their support for the 2016 campaign.

Our 2015 campaign raised a record-breaking $311,414 – representing a growth of $20,739 over the past two years! The most exciting part of this growth is that it directly resulted in increased and impactful support for our LOCAL nonprofit partners, LOCAL pillar grant projects, and LOCAL community programs. We were absolutely able to deliver on our campaign promise to our communities of “Local Focus. Local Impact.”

It is important to remind our donors that any support they provide to our United Way is an investment – an investment in the type of communities we all want to live in; an investment in those in our communities who are in need; and an investment in the education, health, and financial stability of our youth, neighbors, friends, and families.

I encourage you to visit our United Way website (ourunitedway.com) to learn more about our organizations, our partners and programs, as well as to review our annual report and other campaign materials. Please also “like” our Facebook page to stay up to date on happenings at our office and with our partners.

Our United Way is truly grateful for all of the past, and continued, support we receive from our generous communities. Simply put, we would not be able to maintain and grow our local influence without you. I hope you will consider being involved in our 2016 campaign, and contributing to our efforts of Investing in IMPACT to create the healthy, self-sufficient communities we all want to live in!

With sincerest thanks,

Megan Findlay, Executive Director, United Way and
Renee Clark, Board Chair, Fort HealthCare VP of Nursing Services & Performance Improvement
