The Learning Center provides educational opportunities not only to Fort HealthCare employees, but also to area hospitals, schools, and healthcare facilities. The Simulation Lab provides hands-on experience to hospital and clinic staff by using a variety of task trainers, static and high-fidelity manikins. These activities enhance critical thinking while instilling best practice to ensure safe, quality care for our patients. The Learning Center also coordinates/manages the Nurse Residency Program, new employee orientation, the Education/Simulation team, various competency days, our Learning Management System (Swank), various Point Teams, and much more.
