Center for Women's Health is Expanding! Welcome OB/GYN Dr. Harris

Fort HealthCare and the Center for Women’s Health is pleased to welcome Robert Harris, MD, a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 20 years of experience, to its Women’s Health team. He joins the team with Drs. Christina Chuppa and Meredith Martin-Johnston.
Dr. Harris specializes in high-risk obstetrics, providing advanced care and monitoring for mothers and babies facing complex or higher-risk pregnancies. His expertise includes managing conditions such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, multiple pregnancies, preterm labor risk.
“High-risk pregnancies require close attention, clear communication, and compassionate support,” said Dr. Harris. “My goal is to partner with patients and their families to ensure they feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their pregnancy journey.”
In addition to high-risk obstetrics, Dr. Harris provides the full spectrum of gynecological care, including annual exams, preventive screenings, contraceptive management, menopausal care, and treatment for a wide range of gynecologic conditions. He is committed to partnering with women at every stage of life to support their health and well-being.
Dr. Harris earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed his residency training in Staten Island Memorial Hospital, New York.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Harris is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to provide care to a broader patient population and ensure patients fully understand their health and treatment options.
