Fort Healthcare and the Center for Women’s Health are excited to announce that Meredith Johnston, DO, is now accepting new patients.  She is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience and a strong commitment to providing advanced women’s health care close to home. She brings highly specialized, minimally invasive gynecologic and obstetric services to the area, eliminating the need for patients to travel long distances for complex care.

Dr. Johnston specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery for conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence. She is especially known for offering uterus-preserving treatment options, including the Acessa® procedure for fibroid ablation, giving women alternatives to hysterectomy and more control over their reproductive health.

Nationally recognized for her surgical expertise, Dr. Martin-Johnston ranks in the top 10% in the country for da Vinci® robotic procedures based on efficiency and surgical performance. Her ability to deliver advanced surgical care locally allows patients to receive the same level of expertise typically found at large healthcare facilities.

In obstetrics, Dr. Johnston provides compassionate, personalized care throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She believes listening is the foundation of exceptional care and works closely with patients and families to create individualized care plans for both mother and baby.

Her clinical interests also include menopause care, female reproductive health, emotional wellness, and breast health, supporting women through every stage of life.

Dr. Johnston earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and holds a designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Martin-Johnston enjoys time with her husband and three teenage daughters, traveling, and walking her two dogs, embracing the same community-focused values she brings to her practice.

Dr. Johnston joins the practice with Christine Chuppa, MD at the Center for Women’s Health. To schedule an appointment, please call the Center for Women’s Health at 920-563-8900.  The clinic is located at 650 McMillen St., Fort Atkinson.
