Fort HealthCare Cambridge Clinic Hosting Open House
Thursday, May 13, 2010
The Fort HealthCare Cambridge Clinic invites the community to attend their open house celebration on Saturday, May 22 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is no cost or obligation to attend the event. The open house is an opportunity for individuals and families to meet family medicine physician, Stephanie Nottestad, MD, and family medicine with obstetrics physician, Rebecca Reim, MD.
In addition, guests can tour the clinic building, take advantage of FREE health screenings, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and enter to win a number of prizes (no need to be present to win). If the weather and rescue schedule permits, University of Wisconsin Med-Flight may also make an appearance, and visitors will have a chance to view the helicopter close-up and talk to the pilots.
Nottestad received her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a residency with the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Marys Hospital and Medical Center in Madison.
Reim received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Carthage College in Kenosha and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She also completed a residency in family medicine from the UW Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Marys Hospital, where she met and trained with Nottestad. Reim also completed a fellowship with the UW Madison Department of Pediatrics.
Both doctors’ practices include family medicine with special interests in preventive health for all ages. Reim also provides obstetrics care. A primary care physician is trained to care for you through all the phases of your life and the lives of your loved ones. A family doctor’s office is also the right place to make a same day appointment for urgent care needs, such as symptoms of a cold or the flu, ear infections, or necessary immunizations.
If individuals are not able to attend the open house, they can take advantage of Fort HealthCare’s “Meet Your Match” program, where a FREE, personal, one-on-one, 10-minute interview is scheduled with one of the participating Fort Medical Group physicians. “Meet Your Match” is a great way to get to know a doctor and see if they are a good fit for you. The free visit does not provide medical advice, but it is a great opportunity to learn more about Fort Medical Group’s physicians and services. “Meet Your Match” appointments can be scheduled at the Fort HealthCare Cambridge Clinic by calling (608) 423-1100.
The Fort HealthCare Cambridge Clinic is located at 704 Katie Court in Cambridge, off of Highway 12 near the Matt Kenseth showroom. Fort HealthCare participates in most health insurance plans. For more information, visit www.FortHealthCare.com/Cambridge.
