FORT ATKINSON – Fort HealthCare (FHC) has been honored to grant the Kiwanis Club of Fort Atkinson a donation for their partnership in last year’s Frosty Rock Challenge. A portion of each Frosty Rock registration has been donated back to Kiwanis to support local park improvement projects. On February 6, 2023, FHC presented Kiwanis with $1,500 in appreciation for their support of this community event.
In November of 2022, the Frosty Rock Challenge celebrated its tenth year. The annual event consists of an in-person 12k trail/road run, a 5k run/walk, a 1-mile Kids Run, and a virtual option for the 12k and 5k races. The challenge promotes health and well-being in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere and provides an opportunity for FHC to give back to the community. This year’s Frosty Rock Challenge will take place Saturday, November 11th.
“Kiwanis was honored to partner with FHC for the Frosty Rock Challenge, providing a great opportunity for community members to organize for a fun family friendly event!” said Gregory Klug Jr., president of the Kiwanis Club of Fort Atkinson. “We are very excited for the next Frosty Rock Challenge November 11th and are already working on ideas on how to make it another amazing event for Fort Atkinson!
“We are grateful for Kiwanis’ partnership in the Frosty Rock Challenge,” says Tiffany Pernat, Community Health & Wellness Department Coordinator, “Partnering with local organizations on community wellness programs helps bring the community together and lead us all closer to fulfilling FHC’s Vision to be the healthiest community in Wisconsin.”
