The Fort HealthCare Lake Mills clinic recently announced a pending change in Sunday hours of operation for the Urgent Care service. Hours of care for walk-in patients with minor illnesses will change to 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. This change is effective beginning February 2. The change was made in response to patient feedback that expressed the need for earlier appointment times on each weekend day.
Urgent care is also available Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 10:00 P.M. and on Saturdays from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The urgent care clinic share facilities with the Fort HealthCare Family Medicine and Internal Medicine specialists at the 200 East Tyranena Park Road location. The Lake Mills clinic has also added scheduled appointment times on Saturday mornings and two evenings per month. Jennifer Philbin, MD is now accepting family practice appointments every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every other Thursday until 8 p.m.
Dr. Philbin is a board certified family physician. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois-College of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Illinois. She provides the full scope of family medicine services, and cares for patients of all ages, with a particular interest in early childhood development and women’s health. Dr. Philbin enjoys helping her patients improve their health through prevention and positive change.
