Fort HealthCare Named a 2026 Top Workplace by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for the 16th Time

Fort HealthCare is proud to announce it has once again been recognized as a top employer, earning a place on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s 2026 Top Workplaces list for Southeastern Wisconsin for the 16th time. This honor comes on the heels of a second recent recognition, as Fort HealthCare was also named a Top Workplace by USA Today, marking two prestigious awards in just as many weeks.
Recipients of the Top Workplace Award are chosen based on feedback provided by their own employees through a confidential survey conducted by a third-party organization. The survey measures factors that matter most to employees, like feeling respected, supported, and empowered in their work.
More than 470 Fort HealthCare employees completed the survey, landing their organization on the short list of businesses selected across Southeastern Wisconsin.
“This recognition is a reflection of the environment our team has built together,” said Michael Anderson, MD, President and CEO of Fort HealthCare. “To be recognized once is an honor — doing it 16 times speaks to something deeper. It shows a sustained commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued and supported, and that impact carries through to every patient and family we serve.”
While the award highlights workplace culture, its impact extends far beyond the confines of Fort HealthCare’s facilities. The organization’s strong internal culture directly shapes the care experience for its patients, ensuring they are met with teams who are engaged, connected, and committed to making a difference close to home.
