Fort HealthCare Nursing Scholarships Available

The Fort HealthCare Partners organization is pleased to announce applications are being accepted for two scholarships to be awarded to qualified applicants enrolled in an associate’s degree nursing program. The application can be completed online, and more information can be found at FortHealthCare.com/Scholarships. The application deadline for these upcoming scholarships is Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in an associate degree nursing program and must be current residents in the Fort HealthCare service area which includes Cambridge, Fort Atkinson, Helenville, Jefferson, Johnson Creek, Lake Mills, Palmyra, Sullivan, and Whitewater. While grade point average is important, it is not the primary consideration. To encourage the completion of coursework, financial need will be considered as well as participation in community and/or professional activities.
The Partners organization grants healthcare career scholarships to students each year and also provides funding for new equipment, new services, and patient education for Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson and for Fort HealthCare clinics serving surrounding communities. Additionally, Partners members provide volunteer services that supplement the basic functions of hospital staff by making a patient’s stay more pleasant and their loved ones feel more comfortable.
Partners is a voluntary organization comprised of men and women dedicated to promoting the interests of Fort HealthCare and its patients. Volunteers donate their time and energy to help others, enjoy opportunities to learn new skills, and gain a better understanding of the healthcare field.
