Fort HealthCare Obstetrics Department Receives Book Donation from St. Paul's Church and School
Monday, April 26, 2021
In March 2021, the Outreach Board at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and School decided to host a book drive to collect new board books to give to babies born at Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson to promote early literacy among families. David Frohmader, Board Chairman, states, “One of the goals of the book drive was to do something to give back to our community. We got the message out about seeking donations through Facebook and our church and school families’ newsletters, and it was received with great enthusiasm!” The school was able to collect a total of 121 books for area newborns and their families. A representative from Fort HealthCare’s Obstetrics department accepted the donation on Friday, April 23, 2021.
