Fort HealthCare to Host 2010 "Well Workplace University Certification"
Monday, January 4, 2010
Fort HealthCare will host the March 17, 2010 “Well Workplace University Certification” program, lead by the Wellness Council of Wisconsin, local affiliate of the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA).
WELCOA draws from the successes of North America’s best run corporate wellness programs, and is one of the country’s most trusted voices on worksite health promotion. After participating in this program, attendees will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to develop and deliver their own results-oriented wellness program. Topics covered will focus on the seven benchmarks of results-oriented workplace wellness programs, specific examples and ideas to use at your workplace, resources that can be useful in the development of a successful workplace wellness program and the process involved in winning a “Well Workplace Award” to be recognized as on of the healthiest organizations in America.
Currently, there are several companies participating in the Fort HealthCare Wellness at Work program and many more in development phases. Interested companies or organizations are welcome to participate by sending individuals involved in the development of a corporate wellness program. This program draws attendees from all over Wisconsin, and Fort HealthCare is proud to be one of the only healthcare systems to host the “Well Workplace University Certification” program outside of the Madison and Milwaukee areas.
