Fort HealthCare is pleased to welcome a new family medicine provider to its primary care team. James C. Flood, MD joins James Wishau, MD, Jennifer Philbin, MD, Laurel Runte, PNP, and Kristin Schultz, APNP, seeing patients by appointment at Fort HealthCare Lake Mills. The clinic is located at 200 E. Tyranena Park Road.
Dr. Flood received his training at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, with an Internship at Florida Hospital Family Practice Residency in Orlando, and a Residency with Loma Linda University Family Practice Residency in Loma Linda, CA. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow American Academy of Family Physicians.
He enjoys the broad spectrum of care that the field of family medicine provides. Dr. Flood cares for patients of all ages and takes the time to work one-on-one to determine what care is best for each of them as individuals. He enjoys working with multigenerational families and takes pride in caring for people throughout the many different stages of their lives. While doing this, he also respects his patients’ time and is known for being very punctual.
Dr. Flood states, “I feel honored to care for families who choose me to be involved in their healthcare. Being able to customize care on a long term basis for my patients is one of the major reasons I chose Family Medicine as a specialty.”
The Fort HealthCare Lake Mills clinic is part of Fort HealthCare’s network of clinics, operating on a philosophy of partnership; between Fort HealthCare and the communities it serves, as well as partnerships between providers and patients.
