Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship Winners

The Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship Committee has announced the recipients for the 2011 awards.
Recipients of the Becker Law Office scholarships include Talia McAllister, Jerri Beesley, Angela Heald, Dawn Klecker, Josie Nielson and Amanda Sayre. Winners must be employees in good standing at Fort HealthCare, enrolled in pre-requisite coursework for a nursing program such as LPN, AND or BSN, not already be entered into the clinical portion of the nursing program and submit two letters of recommendation.
The Ormay Freye Scholarship was awarded to Carrie Gorkowski and Brian Connery. Winners must be entering or attending a program of registered nursing, have maintained a high school GPA of 3.0, be a high school senior or currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or technical school and submit two letters of recommendation along with high school or college transcript.
The winner of the Scott W. Hulstein Scholarship was Christy Shuld. Winner must be a high school graduate residing in Jefferson County pursuing education in the health care field. To qualify, applicants must have maintained a high school GPA of 3.0, be a high school senior or be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or technical school and include two letters of recommendation along with high school or college transcript.
The Cynthia McKinley Kolasinski Scholarship was awarded to Suma Adappur, Mary Lou Herbst and Mark Meske. Winners must be currently enrolled or enrolling in an accredited ADN or BSN program. Proof of acceptance is required and applicants must include two letters of recommendation along with high school or college transcript.
Lee Clay, Angela Heald and Dawn Klecker received the Estelle Stinson Chase Scholarship. Winners of this award must be employees in good standing at Fort HealthCare, attending an LPN, ADN, BSN or MSN nursing program and include two letters of recommendation.
