FREE Hand & Foot Pain Information Seminar

Health, Wellness & You
Wednesday, October 26, 2011

FORT ATKINSON – James Bruno, MD, with Fort HealthCare Orthopaedic Associates will be hosting a free hand and foot pain seminar on Thursday, November 3 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Fort Memorial Hospital Auditorium in Fort Atkinson. Individuals are invited to register for the seminar online at FortHealthCare.com/Classes (click on “A Healthier You”), or by calling 920-568-5244.

Dr. Bruno provides a full spectrum of orthopedic care for patients of all ages, and specializes in treatment plans for a number of hand, wrist, foot and ankle conditions. During the seminar, Dr. Bruno will discuss a variety of ailments including carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis of the hands and feet, hammer toe, plantar fasciitis, trigger finger, bunions, chronic pain in these areas, and more. He will discuss surgical and non-surgical options for treatment of all conditions.

Pain or discomfort relating to any of these conditions may come from a variety of sources – perhaps a previous injury, arthritis, joint deformity, or the result of aging. If left untreated, conditions may worsen later on in life, or cause other problems within the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Bruno makes his diagnosis by combining a history of the injury or deformity, a physical examination of the problem area, and sometimes an X-ray to rule out any fractures.

The seminar is also a way for attendees to meet Dr. Bruno. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and has been providing safe and effective treatment for his patients for over 20 years. Dr. Bruno is a member of the board-certified team of surgeons with Fort HealthCare Orthopaedic Associates, along with Thomas Nordland, MD, Isidoro Zambrano, MD, and Randall Jennings, MD.

The surgeons have office hours in Fort Atkinson, Cambridge, Whitewater, Johnson Creek and Lake Mills. They provide expert care for all ages in all major areas of the musculoskeletal system, including (but not limited to) arthritis care, fracture treatment, joint replacements, minimally-invasive surgical techniques, foot and ankle care, hand and wrist treatment, and sports medicine. Individuals are asked to register for the seminar by calling 920-568-5244, or online at FortHealthCare.com/Classes (click on “A Healthier You”).
