Free Health Care Careers Group at Fort HealthCare for High School Students

Friday, September 7, 2018

Fort HealthCare’s Health Care Careers is a free program for high school students who may be interested in a career in the health care field. Students will come to Fort Memorial Hospital monthly and participate in fun and exciting “hands-on” health care experiences.  They will explore a “day in the life” of various health care professionals in their work setting and be able to ask questions. This is a great opportunity for students to explore the many fields such as nursing, ultrasound, community health, physical therapy, surgical technician, doctor, phlebotomist, respiratory therapy, pharmacist, exercise physiologist, nurse practitioner, etc.

Our first meeting is on Thursday, September 13th at Fort Memorial Hospital in Classroom A (ground floor) from 6p –7:30pm.
