Love Lights purchased DASH 5000 monitor for Emergency Services

Friday, June 17, 2011

Each year, the Fort HealthCare Partners raise funds for new equipment, at Fort Memorial Hospital, through the sale of Love Lights. The 2010 campaign allowed the emergency department to purchase a Dash 5000 monitor. This equipment allows staff to better diagnosis and monitor individuals coming into the hospital with heart attack symptoms.

Kari Behling, manager of volunteer services, remarked, “I am overwhelmed by the continuous support from Fort Atkinson and the surrounding communities over the past 26 years of Love Lights. It is through that generosity and support that the hospital continues to fulfill its vision of being the healthiest community in Wisconsin.” The 2010 Love Lights campaign raised over $21,000.

The 2011 Love Light campaign will begin in early November, but donations are always accepted. More information can be found at FortHealthCare.com/LoveLights.
