Fort HealthCare and Advanced Pain Management Partner for Increased Local Care

Fort HealthCare and Advanced Pain Management, a regional provider of medical services for pain management, recently announced a formal partnership agreement that will expand the level of services available in the Fort Atkinson area. The agreement calls for a joint venture relationship between the two partners. Advanced Pain Management will relocate current services from the Specialty Clinic at Fort Memorial Hospital to a new location at 1604 Madison Avenue, Fort Atkinson. Construction is underway to complete a free-standing ambulatory surgery center intended to open in April of this year.

Fort HealthCare United Way campaign exceeds goal

Representatives of Fort HealthCare gathered around a very large check to celebrate the recently completed goal topping United Way campaign. The campaign ran for a number of weeks this fall, and resulted in the donation of $39,132 to United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties. The donation was the result of employee fundraising activities that included a general appeal with payroll deductions, incentives for time off and other rewards for increased or early giving, a silent auction and department sponsored bake sales.

2012 New Year Baby has arrived

Jayden Heffner, son of Katelyn Heffner of Cambridge, arrived at 11:37 a.m. on Monday, January 2 at the Fort Memorial Hospital Great Expectations Birthing Center. He was delivered by Rebecca Reim, MD weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Jayden is the first baby born in Jefferson County in 2012.

Fort HealthCare is challenging local workers to slim down and improve their health by participating in the Slimdown Challenge. The 12-week challenge is open to employees of Fort HealthCare, Nasco, Spacesaver, Digi-Star, Cygnus Business Media and Rock Lake Activity Center. RLAC members are also welcome to participate.
