In June and July, two members of the clinic staff took part in extensive, high-tech training in Texas to better serve their patients. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) technician Jamie Geske and medical director Robert Goldman, MD (pictured) each spent one week learning about best practices in wound healing and exploring ways to implement better techniques in the clinic.

Dr. Satwant S. Dhillon of Fort HealthCare Center for Women's Health invites women who may be experiencing stress urinary incontinence (SUI) to attend a free informational seminar about a new treatment that is available. Individual, family or group counseling can help people overcome both the physical and emotional problems relating to drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. An important part of what goes on in the Behavioral Health Center is the chemical dependency program, offering intensive outpatient treatment and counseling for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, and encouraging family involvement.

15 year-old Carly Wallace, daughter of Mike and Kristin Wallace of Fort Atkinson, will be a sophomore at Fort Atkinson High School. She's doing her part to help save lives in Jefferson County and beyond. To raise the money for the CPR Anytime Kits, Wallace is selling microwavable heating bags for $8 each. The kits will then be given away at Fort Memorial Hospital to the parents of newborns.

Effective May 26, the Fort Atkinson location of Orthopaedic Associates and the Therapy & Sport Center appointments have relocated to Fort Atkinson's northwest side. Previously home to Piggly Wiggly, 1504 Madison Avenue will now house a state-of-the-art rehab, sports medicine and orthopedic center complete with pediatric areas and a sports gym for rehabilitating athletes.
