Retirement Party Planned for Steven George, MD

FORT ATKINSON – Fort HealthCare Internal Medicine & Pediatrics invites patients and their families to attend a retirement party for long-time internal medicine physician, Steven George, MD. The celebration will take place at the clinic, located at 500 McMillen Street in Fort Atkinson, from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Dr. George joined the medical staff of Fort Memorial Hospital in 1985 and soon after became a partner at the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics clinic. He became part of Fort Medical Group when the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics practice was acquired by Fort HealthCare in 2007.

Drs. Donald Williams, Thomas Tackman, Geoffrey Smith, Laura Koenig, and nurse practitioners Amber Heuss and Katie Lewellin continue their practice at the clinic. Dr. George was instrumental in advancing the Internal Medicine program, Intensive Care Unit and echocardiography programs. He has enjoyed caring for his patients very much for over 27 years.
