Chad’s Profession

Chad is a clinical pharmacist and pharmacy resident preceptor for Fort HealthCare. He received a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy in Saint Louis, Missouri in 2007. His prior leadership experience includes being a preceptor at a tertiary hospital in central Illinois for several years and a pharmacist in charge at a large drug store in the Saint Louis, Missouri area for several years. Chad has had various experiences working in pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, psychiatry and as a hospice pharmacist. He is also a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), having earned that honor in 2014. He sits on the emergency department, code response, and ortho surgery committees at Fort HealthCare and maintains membership in the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.

Chad’s Interests

Chad’s main practice interests include emergency medicine, transitions of care, and stroke management. Chad has been a preceptor for many years for APPE students and PGY-1 residents throughout his hospital career and he enjoys teaching and learning from his students. In his free time, Chad enjoys running, attending the University of Wisconsin athletic events, and spending time with and travelling with his family and friends.
