Integrated Behavioral Health Services

Fort HealthCare Behavioral Health services are here for you and your family when you need help. Our convenient integrate care model provides an outpatient program of assessment, counseling and treatment that is available to help you and those you care about work through mental illness, behavioral issues and find ongoing behavioral health care when needed.

This program will provide more immediate, solution-focused strategies to address behavioral health needs, offer continued access to psychiatric services and improved communication and coordination of care between primary care clinicians, mental healthcare providers and agencies. Most important, we believe this program offers improved overall health for our patients by delivering preventive and acute behavioral health care in the most effective manner.

Integrated Family Care Clinic

Your Health is a Team Effort

We firmly believe in healthcare based on partnership: between Fort HealthCare and the communities we serve, as well as partnership between doctor and patient. That’s why we strive to involve patients and their families in maintaining good health that lasts a lifetime. We’re committed to the health of our communities, and we’re always here to listen, understand and respond to your healthcare concerns. The Fort HealthCare Integrated Family Care clinic works to help the entire family achieve total health through prevention, education and, if needed, medical intervention. The Fort HealthCare Integrated Family Care clinic is part of Fort HealthCare’s Fort Medical Group network of clinics.

The Best Of Care

Our Family Medicine practitioners are motivated by one simple directive: To provide the best care possible.

Part of what enables us to provide consistently high quality healthcare is continuity. Pediatric and adolescent care continues through adulthood with your personal family physician, who knows your medical history and has earned your trust.

We constantly strive to be timely and accessible. To that end, our Family Medicine Clinics are located close to where you live and work, and our physicians have privileges at Fort Memorial Hospital.

About Collen’s practice

Dr. Drosdeck is a Licensed Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In individual/couples/family therapy sessions, Dr. Drosdeck primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches, which are both evidence-based therapies. In addition, Dr. Drosdeck also recently completed the intensive 100-hour course for Substance Abuse Counselors to better understand and assist individuals who are engaging in substance abuse. Dr. Drosdeck also has extensive training and experience in completing comprehensive psychological evaluations, which can be used to gain a better understanding of cognitive, academic, and/or personality factors. Whether providing therapy or completing an evaluation, Dr. Drosdeck strives to foster an environment of openness and transparency, so that mutually agreed upon goals can be identified, established and worked towards, increasing the likelihood of a valuable experience.

Prior to joining Fort Healthcare, Dr. Drosdeck worked in diverse mental health settings, where she developed and oversaw intensive outpatient programs for adolescents and adults with severe internalizing symptoms, including engagement in self-harming behaviors and suicidal gestures/attempts, and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders; provided ongoing outpatient psychological care; assisted with forensic evaluations; co-facilitated mediation, parent coordination, and family reunification sessions; facilitated one-on-one in-home therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum; and completed risk assessments and crisis stabilization services. Furthermore, Dr. Drosdeck has facilitated clinical staff trainings and provided ongoing clinical supervision.

“I appreciate that each person is functioning the best that he or she can in this moment, and my goal is to assist individuals in expanding their skill sets and better understand their thinking and behavioral patterns to make the changes that they have deemed necessary and beneficial.”

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Drosdeck spends the majority of her time in the outdoors, traveling to other states to try local eats and cuisine, hiking, walking her dog, Ferris, and riding horses. These activities allow her to utilize mindfulness practices and to further expand her awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity, which she routinely incorporates into her therapeutic approaches.
