Gil Fernandez, MD, chose family medicine because he believes the key to a long and healthy life lies in prevention rather than just treatment. The specialty allows him to build long-term relationships with his patients and their families, which he considers one of the most rewarding aspects of his work.

Dr. Fernandez enjoys collaborating with a range of specialists to ensure his patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care. He strives to make sure his patients understand their options, stay on track with their care plans, and always feel supported.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Dr. Fernandez likes spending quality time with his close-knit family, friends, and energetic border collie. Not originally from the area, he looks forward to the change of seasons and exploring more outdoor activities, especially winter hobbies.
