Lauren Braun, LPC-IT

School-Based Therapist (in-training)

Medical Practice

Lauren has experience working with children, teens, & adults in various settings, including schools. After working with children with autism as an ABA therapist, Lauren gained a lot of experience with creative communication methods as well as imaginative play. Lauren believes that every child deserves to be heard, cared for, and taught the skills they need to understand and manage their emotions.

“I see children as future adults; what a child learns now will continue to shape their worldview and relationships in the future. By walking with a child through the challenges of emotional understanding and regulation, they can come to a better understanding of their strengths and be empowered to make emotionally intelligent choices in the future.”

Personal Interests

Lauren enjoys visiting local ice cream shops and playing board games with her husband.  She also enjoys hiking, puzzles, podcasts, and playing the piano.

About School-Based Mental Health Services

School-based services are designed to engage students and families in behavioral health treatment who otherwise may not seek these services in traditional outpatient clinic settings. School-based treatment increases accessibility to timely services, engages students and families effectively, promotes coordinated treatment and services, and upholds confidentiality and privacy. Talk to your school’s administration or pupil services team to inquire about school-based behavioral health services.

You can also call Fort HealthCare’s Center for Behavioral Health Department at (920) 563-9542 to learn more.
