Medical Practice
Leah chose marriage and family therapy as her practice, because she wanted to help others while honoring the belief that each person holds the power to create change within their own life. She believes that relationships and environments shape our experiences, and sometimes meaningful change requires disrupting the patterns that no longer serve us.
“Your responses to the events of life are more important than the events themselves.” -Virginia Satir
Leah finds it deeply rewarding to share in both the challenges and triumphs that people experience. She believes there is something special about witnessing someone face adversity while still finding moments of joy, growth, and resilience along the way.
Leah has additional training and experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Her background includes work in both private practice and large healthcare systems, giving her a broad perspective and appreciation for the many ways people seek and sustain emotional well-being.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her three young kids and husband. She enjoys going on road trips to coffee shops, reading, and being crafty when she has the opportunity.
