Professional Description

Marci has always had a passion for health and fitness whether participating in sports, engaging in recreation, or learning the latest trends and strategies that improve overall health. After finishing her Bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater in 2012, she focused her time on health promotion and education for fellow students and later for the greater Whitewater community through the National AmeriCorps program, serving the community coalition Working for Whitewater’s Wellness (W3). Now, she takes her sustainability and capacity-building experience and knowledge as a representative of Fort HealthCare’s Community Health & Wellness Department to the other five community coalitions as part of the Jefferson County Healthy Community Coalitions.

Personal Note

“I am originally from the north suburbs of Chicago, so I have a lot of heart in the Cubs and Blackhawks. However, I am not able to watch many of the games because I do not have cable or Wi-Fi so that I can get out and enjoy the Madison area more, where I live. I enjoy exercising, sight-seeing, traveling, beach-going, meeting new people, and spending quality time with friends and family.”
