About Melissa

“After spending some time as a bedside nurse within the hospital setting, I found that I could build longer lasting relationships and truly make an impact on patients’ lives in the role of a nurse practitioner in family practice. Whether it be with small children and developmental milestones or an elderly patient working through a newly diagnosed chronic condition, I want to be there to help every step of the way.”

“Through taking the time to properly educate my patients on their health, I feel like I can best make an impact on their quality of life. Including patients in the decision-making process surrounding their plan of care is a staple in my practice and I firmly believe that the more patients and providers work together the better the overall outcome can be.”

“Nurse practitioners can serve patients by diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for patients while we are also being trained with a different approach to care that begins with listening, empathy, and compassion.”

Personal Interests

“In my time away from work, I enjoy all the great things Wisconsin has to offer. I love to cheer on the local teams and would never miss a Green Bay Packer football game. I also spend much of my free time with my family, three dogs, and friends outside enjoying the fresh air. I love to celebrate holidays and can usually be found baking up a sweet treat.”

Your Health is a Team Effort

We firmly believe in healthcare based on partnership: between Fort HealthCare and the communities we serve, as well as partnership between doctor and patient. That’s why we strive to involve patients and their families in maintaining good health that lasts a lifetime. We’re committed to the health of our communities, and we’re always here to listen, understand and respond to your healthcare concerns. The Fort HealthCare Integrated Family Care clinic works to help the entire family achieve total health through prevention, education and, if needed, medical intervention. The Fort HealthCare Integrated Family Care clinic is part of Fort HealthCare's Fort Medical Group network of clinics.

The Best Of Care

Our Family Medicine practitioners are motivated by one simple directive: To provide the best care possible.

Part of what enables us to provide consistently high quality healthcare is continuity. Pediatric and adolescent care continues through adulthood with your personal family physician, who knows your medical history and has earned your trust.

We constantly strive to be timely and accessible. To that end, our Family Medicine Clinics are located close to where you live and work, and our physicians have privileges at Fort Memorial Hospital.
