Miranda chose to pursue a career in medicine based on her love of working with people and her interest in science. She decided to train as a family medicine physician assistant and to pursue a career in family practice. “I want to have long standing relationships with the patients and families I serve. I enjoy watching children grow and supporting young adults as they develop their own paths.” Miranda likes helping adults to maintain the lifestyles they want and being able to do all this while helping her patients to be as healthy as possible.
Miranda enjoys working with all the members of a family. It allows her to really understand how family dynamics play into the whole person and to develop a deeper relationship with patients. She enjoys working with patients to improve the state of their chronic diseases and overall health. Miranda works towards this by helping to set long and short term attainable goals. She then works together with her patients to develop a plan by which to achieve these goals.
Outside of work Miranda enjoys being active and playing volleyball. “My husband and I, along with our dog, spend much of our time hiking, running, kayaking, and paddle boarding. When I can’t be outside, I enjoy having game nights with my family.”

To make an appointment, simply call our office and explain the reason for your visit so we may schedule an appropriate amount of time with the physician.
