Medical Practice

Miranda chose to pursue a career in medicine based on her love of working with people and her interest in science. She decided to train as a family medicine physician assistant and to pursue a career in family practice. “I want to have long standing relationships with the patients and families I serve.  I enjoy watching children grow and supporting young adults as they develop their own paths.” Miranda likes helping adults to maintain the lifestyles they want and being able to do all this while helping her patients to be as healthy as possible.

Miranda enjoys working with all the members of a family. It allows her to really understand how family dynamics play into the whole person and to develop a deeper relationship with patients. She enjoys working with patients to improve the state of their chronic diseases and overall health. Miranda works towards this by helping to set long and short-term attainable goals. She then works together with her patients to develop a plan by which to achieve these goals.

Personal Interests

“I enjoy going to the beach and hiking with my husband and two daughters.  We enjoy spending time as a family and getting outside as much as possible.”
