The Fort HealthCare Specialty Clinic is a unique partnership with physicians from Dean Health System, UW Health, UW Hospital & Clinics and other outstanding providers. These much-needed experts offer a variety of healthcare specialty services and are available by appointment at the clinic.
Allergy – Allergy Specialists diagnose and provide therapeutic consultation for sensitivity reactions and diseases and may treat many conditions and diseases including a wide range of allergies, anaphylaxis, asthma, immunodeficiency disorders and recurrent respiratory tract infections.
Cardiology – All cardiologists provide general/preventive cardiology services, while some or all also provide a wide variety of interventional services including cardioversions, TEE, stress tests and echocardiograms.
Gastrointestinal Care – Physicians perform initial GI screenings and follow-up for gastroscopies and colonoscopies done in the Outpatient Surgery Department.
Memory Clinic – Providing diagnostic, educational and supportive services to individuals with dementia and their families, the interdisciplinary memory clinic team includes physicians, psychologists and social workers who have specialized training through the Wisconsin Alzheimers Institute.
Nephrology – Focusing on kidney or metabolic bone disorders, Nephrologists at Fort HealthCare specialize in the treatment of kidney disease, kidney stones, hypertension and metabolic bone diseases including osteoporosis. Dialysis is also available off-site.
Neurology – Neurologists evaluate many neurological problems, such as headaches, seizures, strokes, Parkinsonism, multiple sclerosis, fainting, dizziness, brain tumors, arm and leg weakness, tremor and learning problems, also performing procedures including electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS).
Neurosurgery – Providing comprehensive consultative and follow up services, Neurosurgeons provide care for head and spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain tumor, movement disorders and spine medicine.
Physiatry – A specialized field, physiatry focuses on restoring function for people with complex or chronic disabling diseases, illnesses or injuries. Types of conditions typically treated include musculoskeletal disorders/injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injury, stroke, disabling neurologic or orthopedic conditions.
Plastic Surgery – Plastic Surgeons focus mainly on reconstruction of defects following cancer treatment, trauma and congenital abnormalities, but may also evaluate for breast reduction and breast reconstructive surgery.
Pulmonology – Physicians offer a broad array of diagnostic and management skills in treating patients with respiratory and sleep disorders.
Rheumatology – Taking a multidisciplinary approach to managing rheumatic and immunological diseases, physicians specialize in consultative and continuing care for patients with musculoskeletal disorders including degenerative, hereditary and inflammatory disorders.
Sleep Medicine – The Sleep Center offers diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. Sleep studies are performed at the Fort Memorial Hospital Sleep Lab.
Urology - Urologists dedicated to alleviating concerns, providing evaluation and treatment using the latest advances and finding the best, quickest solutions for individuals who may need medical or surgical intervention for urinary or genital issues.
Vascular Surgery – Vascular Surgery Specialists diagnose and treat all heart and vascular diseases including aortic aneurysm, heart disease, heart failure and peripheral vascular disease.
