1 9-inch baked pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons strawberry gelatin powder
1 quart fresh whole strawberries, trimmed and washed


1) Mix the sugar, cornstarch, syrup and water together. Bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear. Add the gelatin powder, stirring until dissolved. Cool.

2) Arrange the whole strawberries to cover the bottom of the baked pie shell. Pour the gelatin mixture over the strawberries and chill until set.
