What is it?
The vaccination schedule for tetanus includes a Tetanus Substitue (1-time dose of Tdap for Td booster; then boost with Td everyer 10 years.
Why?
Tetanus (Lockjaw) is caused by bacteria found in soil,dust, and manure. The bacteria enters the body through a wound, such as a deep cut.
