After talking with your doctor, our staff will also examine the type of wound or presence of edema you have and the underlying problems causing the wound. After this, we create a program designed specifically for you and your doctor based on the most effective treatment options.
The Wound & Edema Center able to offer specialized treatments that your primary care physicians may not have in his or her office.

Once a treatment plan has been started, you would visit the Center on a regular basis for wound and/or edema care and learn about ways to take care of yourself between visits. If necessary, the Center also provides education and counseling for caregivers.
